OK! Coupler was designed to make a worker insert a steel bar into it and press it alone and easily to be fastened and at the same time, secures the best structural performance as the smart function because the weakness of the existing mechanical couplers were innovatively remedied.
The existing mechanical couplers are fastened to steel rebars as ribs are locked into grooves of the locks when they are inserted into them. So, it is hard to expect comprehensive tensile force because it is difficult to solve the diversity of width, height, and pitch of ribs which are different depending on steel bar makers. Smart Coupler can secure tensile force by fastening all kinds of steel bars by country and product including Bamboo Type and Fish Born Type as a steel bar presses and clutches the central part (30) of the holder being inserted into it and many joints (21) clutch its body as well as its ribs with sharp teeth (21).

Screw Coupler is called a coupler for connecting steel bar screws (Rolling processing coupler) and was developed to be used in buildings that require lateral force such as general building structures, especially, skyscrapers and high bridge piers.
The steel bar joint method mechanically fastens steel bars (Hereafter, deformed bars) defined in KSD 0249 (Steel bar for reinforced concreate, Joint standard reinforced concrete beams) with couplers with processed female screws after rolling and processing and then rolling or threaded processing.
The coupler joint connection was optimized for earthquake resistance and wind resistance by reinforcing lateral force of steel bar joints of skyscrapers or high bridge piers and was designed to reinforce joints fully.
This mechanical steel bar joint method is used the most now.
